Playing with Male Orgasmic Energy

February 16 & 17, 2008

Orgasmic energy is that raw, primal place where our mental noise moves to the background and our body takes over. Many men have learned to be afraid of this energy because it is raw, aggressive and sexual. Ironically, this energy is also the source of our drive, ambition and determination. It can provide valuable insights and healing on many areas of our lives and it can be accessed to infuse us with energy.

Through breath, movement, sound, and self touch we will explore the possibilities of orgasmic energy. We will involve the entire body in generating this energy. We will learn from our self pleasuring habits and see where those habits may be limiting us. We will explore altered states that can be accessed from highly charged orgasmic energy and will have the opportunity to create ritual around our energy.

Orgasmic energy can also be very spiritual. This workshop will introduce Tantric concepts. These concepts will be presented in an easily understandable way that emphasizes the experience in the body rather than focusing on rules and technique. In the spirit of Tantra, orgasmic energy has both male and female qualities and we will play with both. The intention of this work is to make it easily accessible to anyone by demonstrating and practicing body based experiences.

We're also going to play and have fun with this energy! Play is a great way to celebrate and cultivate erotic energies. We'll be creating some safe and fun ways to play too!

This workshop is open to bio guys and trans guys. All body types, ages (over 18), spiritual paths and orientations are welcome. Some of the time will be clothes off and some of the exercises will include hands on self touch.

Expect to be silly, expressive, noisy, primal, playful, sensual, tingly and orgasmic!

The workshop will be held at The Center for Sex and Culture, 1519 Mission Street Suite #1 (between 11th Street and South Van Ness) in San Francisco. The workshop fee is $200 for both days. The newest video is up on the website! Take a look at a guided meditation to help you become more aware of what's going on in your body. These meditations are very helpful to quiet our noisy minds and help us reach a deeper connection with actually being in our body. Also, I'm putting the final touches on a short video demonstrating orgasmic breath. Look for this new one soon. All the videos can be reached from the Video Library on the website.

Reflections on the Season

This is the beginning of winter. Outdoors it can be cold and quiet. Nature becomes dormant. It's a time to retreat indoors. Many of us spend the season turning inwards in reflection. As the year ends and another begins it's a great time to reflect on what we're thankful for and what we are looking for in the coming year.

As I reflect back on this year I'm thankful that I get to love the work I do. I still can't believe that I get the honor to work with many wonderful men. I'm thankful that I receive such amazing satisfaction from my work. I'm thankful for the many lessons that I learn from this work. I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had over the past year to learn and grow. I'm also thankful for the confidence, trust and support you've placed in me. I look forward to continuing our journey in the coming year.

I believe that it's also important to share my blessings. One of the way I'm giving back is that I have begun offering volunteer bodywork services through Positive Being. They provide bodywork for people in financial need who are living with HIV and other chronic conditions.
